How To Book a Parent-Teacher Interview in PowerSchool
Sign In to Parent Portal Account

- You will be taken to the Parent Portal Sign In page. Once you have created your account, you can now login using the Username and Password that you created.

- Click Forms
- Click the General Forms tab
- Click the current Parent-Teacher Interviews Form Name link to schedule an appointment with your child’s Teachers.

- You will be taken to the Parent-Teacher Interview Scheduling page. School- specific Information for Booking of Interview(s) appears at the top. Please read and review. To assist in booking Interview(s) your child’s Course Schedule appears under Student Schedule – For Scheduling Reference. Use it as a guide to which teacher teaches which subject(s). Note the Teacher’s names.
- PLEASE NOTE: If your student is a secondary school student who is “cross enrolled” into a school for a course not offered at their home school, the teacher of that course will not show up here. Please contact the school where the course is being offered to schedule an interview with that teacher. This includes online courses offered within the Wellington Catholic District School Board.

- The booking Calendar appears in list view below the Schedule.
- Click the Filter button above the event listing to show the Teacher’s availability.

- Select your child’s Teacher from the list of Providers. Click Apply.
- PLEASE NOTE: If your student is registered in a Continuing Education course such as Literacy/Numeracy or International Language, the teacher of that course will show up here; however, Parent Teacher Interviews are not available with the Continuing Education teacher unless the teacher is also teaching your student in a regular class.
- Click Interview beside a time slot to book an interview in that time slot. Unavailable time slots have a red icon.

- Use Notes to enter any special requests or details that you want the School to know

- Click Register to book the Interview.

- Click Submit Form to complete the process. You can register for other time slots by
- clicking I’ll Submit Later, registering for the other slots, and submitting the entire form when complete. The Submit button is at the bottom of the page.
- Click OK.

- The time slot will now show as Registered.

- If the selected Teacher is already booked for this time slot a warning will appear. Click
- OK to dismiss the message and try another time slot.

- To book appointments with other Teachers repeat the above process, selecting the appropriate Interview type.
- To book appointments with the Social Worker call the School to make arrangements.
Adding a Student
- If you did not add all Students in your family during account creation, click Account Preferences in the Navigation menu, click the Students tab, and click the Add button.

Dropping an Interview
- Click the Registered Interview, and click Drop on the pop-up window.

- Click OK, Submit this form!

Printing Your Interview Times
- Click the Expand button to see details for your booked interviews. We ask that you save paper by noting these appointments in your own calendar.


Online Calendar Survey
Click the Forms link to return to the main School Form Listing page.

- If available, click Online Calendar Survey, complete the Survey and click Submit to save.
Sign Out
- Click Sign Out when you have completed your bookings and the Calendar Survey.
